Dr Tamsin is an evolutionary biologist known for her original research on baboon social evolution, and a leading author in the field of Biomimicry, innovation inspired by nature.
She has provided leading-edge Biomimicry innovation to a global and Fortune 100 clientele for the past 15 years, and is the Founder of TEEM Innovation Group LLC, a company providing developmental tools and experiential education to life-minded leaders.
Her book, TEEMING, is regarded as the foundational work on Organizational Biomimicry. Verne Harnish, founder of MIT’s Birth of Giants, YPO and EO, and the author of Scale Up called it “the most important business book of the 21st century.”
Tamsin’s new book is Your TEEMING Transformation, an evolutionary journey for life-minded leaders determined to bring impossible things to life. It features key excerpts from The TEEMING Transformation, along with a nine part series of transformative questions organized around a set of unique and powerful evolutionary frameworks, designed to help people think about life and work as part of larger living systems, and thus to unleash what’s possible. It is free and suitable for individuals, teams, and organizations who want to do impossible, life-giving things that change everything.
Tamsin is the Founding Director of the Borrego Institute for Living Design, 501(c)(3), an innovative wilderness field school in the unceded Kumeyaay lands of the Southern California desert. It is dedicated to Biocultural renewal and leadership, and to the regeneration of life’s proven strategies, from both Indigenous biocultures and native species.
